Greta Thunberg lashes out at Donald Trump following his remark on her ‘anger management issues.’

Trump Labels Thunberg a “Troublemaker”

Donald Trump and Swedish activist Greta Thunberg have never exactly been allies. Their latest clash erupted after Thunberg was deported from Israel on Monday, along with more than 100 other activists. The U.S. president called her a “troublemaker” and claimed she has “anger management issues.”

Thunberg’s Gaza Mission

The 22-year-old activist had participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza, a convoy of boats attempting to “break the blockade.” Israel detained and eventually deported her. On Tuesday, Thunberg landed in Athens, Greece, where she delivered a speech to cheering supporters at the airport.

Trump’s Remarks

It didn’t take long for Trump to comment. He criticized Thunberg, saying:

“She is just a troublemaker… she’s no longer into the environment now. She has an anger management problem. I think she should see a doctor… Have you ever watched her? She’s a young person. She’s so angry, she’s so crazy… She’s just a troublemaker.”

Trump’s words continued the long-running tension between the former president and the activist.

Greta’s Brutal Response

Thunberg didn’t stay silent. On Instagram, she responded sharply:

“I heard Donald Trump once again has expressed his very flattering opinions on my character, and I appreciate his concerns for my mental health. To Trump: I would kindly receive any recommendations you might have to deal with these so-called ‘anger management problems,’ since – judging by your impressive track record – you seem to be suffering from them too.”

Moving Forward

On Tuesday, a plane carrying activists departed Athens for Sweden. It remains unclear whether Thunberg was on board.

This exchange highlights the ongoing clash between the outspoken activist and the former president.
