Olivia stared at the message on her phone, unable to understand the meaning behind the words. Which one of you was supposed to disappear. For her entire life, she believed she was the child her parents wanted. Now she wondered if her existence was connected to Lily’s disappearance.
Detective Rachel Moore examined the photograph again. The person standing beside Grace was not Michael. It was Daniel Reed, the man who helped raise Olivia after her mother died.
Olivia felt betrayed. Daniel was the person who attended her school events, helped with family decisions, and always told her that Grace loved her more than anything.
Rachel contacted Daniel immediately. When he saw the photograph, he didn’t deny it.

The next clue came from Grace’s diary. A missing page was found hidden inside the necklace compartment. Grace wrote:

Olivia asked Lily, “Who is she talking about?”

Someone had been searching for her for decades.
The biggest surprise came when Lily revealed something she had never told anyone.
Before Grace died, she met Lily one final time.
Grace told her:

Olivia felt confused.
